those must be the ones i see in the fish markets called Sea scallops or diver scallops. they are much bigger than bay scallops. rkc is right, would be a sin to fry those, great on the grill though.
i am jealous of your cheaper lobster prices. around here your looking at $20 a pound at walmart. i guess every neighborhood has it's advantages.. |

We have both sizes!! Small Bay scallops and the larger sea scallops, I love the Bay!! there is a place here called the NO Name restaurant and they have the greatest ones I have ever eaten!! I love what we call the milk, I love the juice!!!!!!!!I use to get them all the time when friend pete had his clam farm!!
