One more thing. It has a 2004 Yammy 150, 2 stroke on it. Is this enough horses?
Thanks again, Bo |

Quote:
Typically the 150 pushes to around 40 mph wide open, and cruises very nicely at 20 - 30 mph. No problems with 150 hp. |

I'm guessing your looking at this one? If so she looks like a nice clean specimen of the V20/V21 variety that I have drooled over a few times.

Another question.
There's a lot of shallow water here on the FL west coast. How much water does she need to run in? To float with the motor up? I've only been looking for a CC up to this point, but this boat seams like such a good deal. Thanks, Bo |

[QUOTE=carbinebo;206232]Another question.

I've only been looking for a CC up to this point, but this boat seams like such a good deal. Bo - you remind me ........of me a bit because I ask lots of questions too ! Not really a flats boat, but then again not especially deep either. Will keep you from broiling in the sun though. Those CC's don't offer much shade. The V21 bimini offers some decent shade. A real flats boat.........is just that.........a flats boat, lots of broiling sun, real shallow draft, to pole around the shallows and such. There's no such thing as a perfect boat - only boats best for this or that ! In my case, I switched from a Mako CC to the Wellcraft V21. Not much room on the Mako, lots of room on the V21. Easier to handle the anchor on the CC, better storage on the V21. Etc......etc |

I have a '94 V21 with the exact same motor. I get 2.5mpg on average. Seen 43mph a time or two when pushing the stick all the way up but typically 28 - 30 ish mph cruise speed. Plenty enough for my wants/needs. Motor has been solid with exception of fuel pump failure around 400 hrs. Rebuilt those and no engine problems since.
