Bah.... you guys are pikers.... You want to go slow? I have a set of Sears oars that will do much less than .1. (Depending on how many beers I've had)

I do not know exactly how fast we were going. But wot with a 150 Johnson barely moving. Truck had gotten stuck in sand and had to use the Johnson to help push. It took about two or three minutes to go ten feet.

I'll put my 2.7 Cruise-n-carry up against your 9.9 anyday BR.

I bet it will go WAY under .9 mph...it may even go negative with the right prop.

But its been put up for the winter so I guess we cant run em...but if we did, you would leave me in the dust.

We can go title for title next spring RB. Whoever takes the longest to go 20 feet gets both motors. And a plaque.

My 2 hp British Seagull is probably too fast unless I change the prop.. but it's a great trolling maching. Never actually measured how slow with the gps.. I wonder how you actually measure less than one knot? Do you use a chip log?

Doing a little casual search for Evinrude 200hp DFI from 2002-2005......

Not the etec, just before after Bombardier had cleaned up the mess and was building a great motor. I had one of these.......Evinrude master tech dealership told me it puts out approx 218 prop hp so it's in line with the Etec 200 HO, but less money.

That should push my V21 to approx 50 mph. Nice.

As I mentioned - casual search ( meaning how much $$ to pull the trigger.....or not )
