The water was 1-2" in the motor well and 1/2 -1" in the drains. That was in a 2-5' chop and yes with the kicker hanging out there I also had a 5Gal can to on that trip . This year I travled light no cooler of ice no gas can(F@#$ Stupid) and little gear under the cuddy. I only had 1/2" in the well drain area and very little in the motor well. My top speed 47-49 is with the top and windows on pretty sure she would go 50 with the top down. I have trim tabs for her and just havn't had the time to install them yet. I hope to have them on this spring if all goes well should improve it just a wee bit.

Get the tabs - it makes a huge difference with the V21 ride characteristic.
A little down tab and the bow edge cuts through the waves and greatly eliminates pounding.
You can really dial in the ride with tabs, engine trim, and speed. Major difference - and you'll enjoy the boat a lot more too. I recently had to run about 15 miles straight into a nasty ocean chop of 3-5's and with the tabs, I was able to run 15 knots almost all the way.
Had the front and side curtains up, lots of spray, but a real decent ride. Never could have done that before the tabs.
