great video, can't believe i just now saw it. it's been about 4 or 5 years since we 've beentothe keys, you got me thinkin it's time again. we used to go and spend a week every year, but the problem with that is you only have about 5 full days, so we started going for 2 weeks every 2 years. that way you have 12 days and weather is not as big a factor. my wife works for the school system and i am self employed, so vacation time was not an issue. do you guys get a house or stay in a condo/resort?

We stay at Conch Key Villas on Conch Key(west side of the Long Key Bridge). Pretty sweet deal, it is definitely not high-society but its nice enough to be comfortable and at $350/person for the week, the price is right. $720 each including gas, bait, travel, lodging, food, etc, is what it cost us each to do this trip!!!!!!

sounds like a great deal. we used to rent those duplexes in key colony (marathon) that were on the water, but the best deals we found were houses on big pine out toward no name key. i had the "don't wanna leave" until i stayed for the two weeks, after 10 or 11 days, in the words of robert earl keene "There's nothin better that your own backyard."
