Went to Mexico with my Wife and Brother and Sister in law this past March.
In the marinas ther there were multiple's of two different boats being used by the charter Captains. Phoenix 29's and Bertram 28's. They run some tough sea's there, went out on a charter and saw first hand, the Captains said these boats were tougher than nails and held up. I tried to find a good Phoenix here, had a survey done on one in Mass. and checked out four here in Jersey. All five were rotted to death. Such a shame. Bertrams I checked, and there were a few, had occasional issues here and there. None, even a decade or more older had anywhere near the rot or delamination problems the Phoenix's all had.

Looks like you came to your senses and forgot about the chris craft, and stepped up to the big leagues. That's ALOT of boat for a 28 footer. Hate to hear you got rid of fishbones after all of the work you had just done to it, but your in another class of vessel now.
