Congrats willy. Look through the modification posts Blue Runner has started. Yours looks a little more apt for the situation. |

1971 Bertram B28 Fly Bridge 28 long, 11 wide Repowered 2003 with PCM 350 300 hp fuel injected (throttle body) with 258 hours. At same time new transmissions Borg Warner Velvet Drives - new 1 1/4 stainless shafts. At same time new epoxied aluminum 165 gallon main tank and two epoxied aluminum 40 gallon saddle tanks for extended range. Lee Senior Out Riggers New this year complete fresh water system, tank plumbing and hoses and pump. New this year, 16000 BTU air and heating system. And according to a very popular and much appreciated Marine Surveyor here in the Jersey Area, known as Dunk on the Bass Barn and the Hull Truth That I hired. Don't run into any oil tankers on the water you might sink them and cause a catastrophe. Solid across the board, minor moisture in the fly bridge deck about 18" square, likely been that way for 20 years and is hard as a rock. Floors, cockpit, fore deck, cabin walls, and around windows dry as a bone and solid. Hull bottom solid no blisters, all bulk heads solid and dry and still tabbed to the hull as the factory did it. |

And Blue Man, I was reading your Mod post and I think you have the numbers askew, you want a two man crew and four petite super models. The second man is really only there to take the helm for your long breaks. And forget the heater what you need is a set of good quality fishing bibs and boots, in a size xxxxl. Then you get into them, you take one petite, facing whichever way you are in the mood for and slide her in too. What other heat would you need brother, I'm just saying! |

Willy i am very impressed! We need a "bow on" shot. That way we can judge if we can even pretend its a gigantic V20, :bat:. |

Congrats!!! I was going to say check the gas tanks cause there was a guy that had one and they used fiberglass tanks in them, New gas eat them to hell, so he had to pay something like $10K to remove his teak deck and replace tanks then rebuild the deck! Good luck with her! |
