I think the object of the post was to show that he made it himself...and that anyone can make one out of the materials he used if they follow his directions.

ooh, ooh...me next, me next....

Here are the ones I made for my rack. Heres what I got in em.....

A stick of PVC, hose clamps, $8 worth of SS fastners, black Fusion paint......works like a champ. I have a hardware store so I think Im about $12 into this rod rack......

I needed something to get my rods out of the way with a truckbed full of coolers and speargear.......

nice sir red, i don't know how many rod tips i've broken in the bed of a pick up truck.

No doubt!!! Here's a horror story for ya.......

My buddy had his rods in the back of his truck and tried to haul azz when the light turned green. The J-bolts holdin his tool box down weren't tight enough and the entire tool box slid to the back and crunched all 15 of his rods in half.......OUCH!!!!!

Only twice..... I have manuals now, less things to break, I.e. rods and window motors!!!!
