Yesterday I had to enlist my brother in law to help me remove the fill hose from the tank in order to get a siphon in there. Boy that thing must've been there since day one. It was practically glued on! Lots of grabbing, twisting with pliers, prying with big screw drivers, spraying lube....finally she started to move and we got it off. I lengthened a fuel hose with a primer ball, weighted the end and dropped it into the back corner of the tank. Siphoned out approx. 12 gallons. I could not see any debris? Ended up dumping it all in my truck....at which point I notice trash in the bottom 12 ounces left in the tank(s). So that tells me the issue IS trash in the tank. Now, fingers crossed that my truck fuel system does not suffer from this!

I'm thinking about repositioning the boat and trying to siphon from the front corner.....I'm sure there's more trash in there.......

Anybody ever have to have a tank pumped out?
