A grown man could almost cry for another guy who wants to go fishing but can't due to lack needed partner. Seriously - the though of sitting at home when you should be out on the salt water......... I don't know what to say except I'm sorry to hear that.

There's a ramp around the corner from Crabby's Bait & Tackle that I seem to remember as being easy to handle alone. Also, the ramp at Bry's Marina - in Neptune ( Belmar ) is easy,
and the guys there are mostly decent about grabbing a line when others are solo. I do.

I often fish solo because I like it - no one to " baby sit " ..... too cold, too hot, no fish, let's go back, lets stay out, sea sick, etc, etc, etc. I work all week to fish as I like on the weekend so that's my story. I do have a few key guys that I'll take with me - my 18 year old son being # 1, then just a couple of others.

I hope it all works out - doctors need to know you're a salt water man and they have to fix you up right.
