Funny you mention the fender. When i took the 18 to the ramp on the way back the fender just fell right off then the trailer run over it causing it to fly up and put a gouge in the side of the hull. I was very fortunate nobody was beside me. That wiuld have been bad. Then when i bought my V back last year i lost the Whole hub off the spindle! This was a brand new trailer in 2006! The people i sold the boat to neglected the trailer. Right now it needs two crossmembers, fenders, hubs etc.
