So many mindlessly kill them. I am obviously an exception cause I own/keep a few snakes but many just kill out of ignorant fear.

Several years ago I was sitting at a traffic light when a HUGE black snake crawled out on the sidewalk and was headed toward the road...I decided as soon as the light changed, I was gonna pull over and get him...then DUMBASS comes along, takes about a 20lb rock and smashes this harmless snake right on the sidewalk...I was SO PISSED!!...DUMBASS must love RATS...
