As far as it goes in the automotive end, I don't care if you buy AUTOZONE, ADVANCE, NAPA, CARQUEST, and most any other big name chain they will all be built by the same company out of Mexico if it is a reman unit. I've bought from all of em, and they are all the same crappy builds internally. ADVANCE does carry REMY brand which is a 100% new unit for starters and alternators, but I still wouldn't be willing to take a chance on one in a boat when you can buy an ARCO that you know will work for many years.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I will look into those Arco starters. Sounds like everyone on here swears by them. Does anyone know who has them for the cheapest?
