Wet foam

From everything I have read, the foam resists water intrusion for a long time. It takes years for it to absorb the water and once it does it will do so more easily after it has been dried. I believe the foam near the tank is OK but I am wondering about the foam closer to the stern.

After posting the above response re letting it dry out, I saw the pics you posted in another thread...THAT'S WET!!...much wetter than I thought you were talking about (another advantage of posting pictures)....obviously that much waters gotta go some way or t'other...cut it out if you gotta...
