Nah....we're in good shape out where I live...I'm 22 miles west of the city....no threat obviously of storm surge and in very hilly terrain so no threat of flooding.....only concern is a couple of BIG *** oak trees on our neighbors property that would waffle my house or boat or garage depending on where it came down if it ever did.... they are healthy as horses so I think its a long shot and not much you can do about that if its gonna happen....gonna all sleep in the basement tomorrow night (we finish our basements up here so its just another floor of the house) just in case....It is going to be interesting to say the least I think....i agree that its going to be like a prolonged nor'easter but I think the fact that there's leaves on the trees as opposd to winter storms is going to make it a whole different experience..... Got one of our gas welders with electrical outlets for in case the power goes out so we should be pretty cozy.

well its supposed to be here today, was already under tornado warning from about 3:30am till about 5 am dont think its gonna do squat. just like flloyd and isabelle, that nor'easter did more damage then both of them put together. its already supposed to be down to 80mph sustained by the time it reaches here. oh well we will see what happens. got gas for the generators and my two year old is stocked up on slim jims "Meat" and yoo-hoo's "woohoooooo" I doubt it will be as bad as alot of the nor'easters you guys up north have had, but better to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. sad to say it but maybe this storm is just the flush to obamas economic toilet.
