And then looks like Irene's gonna roll right up Barnegat Bay...Might change some things around a bit up there...hope she's at least down to a Cat.1 by then...

Capt Pete...looks like yer gonna be right busy this week gettin' all ready...and next week straightenin' everything out...wear you track shoes!!...are ya'll pullin' boats outta the water?...

NJ Guys..I just saw a "cone" predicting the center of Irene would come just inland of the coast...that ain't good...I made a lotta good friends up there and and don't wanna be readin' ABOUT any of you...

Heads up...these things don't mess around...and if the authorities even SUGGEST evacuating, don't be a HAMMERHEAD...get the hell out...come here if ya wanna, but even a Cat. 1 is a pretty serious blow...and can push up a pretty good tidal surge...

Damn...I starting to sound like Destroyer...Aw sshhhooooot!!!...

Let's hope she dies down to a TS and you only get winds <70 mph and torrents of rain...

I'll be pulling the boat tomorrow, Hurricane party at my house, about 25miles inland!

I went from getting extra lines and tying it up good to now having it pulled out and secured (hopefuly well) with the forecast change from yesterday. Unfortunately it looks like an astonomically high tide will coincide with the storm making things that much worse. On a brighter note I did find out that boat US pays for some of your haul out costs. Stay safe everyone!

Not a problem...just an oppurtunity to powerwash the hull before the fall striper run

I just pulled it and gave her a good once over last week!

Today alone we pulled over 30 boats. With as least that much to do tomorrow. Luckily our house is on high ground. I am pulling SpongeBob though. This storm is without a doubt keeping me busy. I will post more salvage pics as I get them.
