I usually keep mine on the bow. I never replaced it after losing it and 22 feet of 5/16 chain. Had to cut it loose, we couldn't move around to free it because other boats were fishing on top of us practically. One reason i do not fish on weekends anymore. I forgot how good V20s looked with the bow rail. How do yall think a black bow rail will look? It looks good on a contender t-top.

Default windlass

I got lucky enough to get it at a whole saler, $200.00 I took it a part cleaned, rewired, greased and painted. It is worth every penny.. Never have to leave the helm seat. :)
