I don't know about value. A good stroker motor with the right parts is not cheap to build unless you are a the guy that does the machine shop work. Probably more than double the value of the boat if not more.
So you don't own it, your just setting it up for a guy?
That is the best kind to go flog. Unless something breaks..
Then you own it. I see the weak link in the outdrive. Even the old 260 Mercruiser could give the Alpha fits. Maybe $8000 with the right buyer?????

I built it, all of it. From the engine to the wiring, to the stereo. And yes, out shaking it down before it is moved to its new home, Lake Erie. I may get one myself now though...LOL

Yes RidgeRunner, I kinda figure the engine is worth more than the whole boat

But, you may be surprised at how little it took for me to build this boat like this. I am going to add it all up here soon, and give a final tally, including my labor.

And, outside of actually dipping the block, and takin out 30 over with a line bore, I do all the rest of the machine work in house.
