Anything over 5lbs is a good fish, around 20 inches.
16 inches is a "keeper" in RI, and for a 16inch fish they fight like the dikens ;D

OH, CY you were talking about Stripers?? Sorry, I thought you were asking about Black Fish.
Anything around 15/20lbs are decent fish... with a few bigger mixed in ;) Shore reports are kept to a minimim until after the run 8)

Stripers up here need to be 28" minimum in CT and RI with a 2 fish limit. CT had messed with slot limits a few years back, 2 -fish limit with 1 between 28" and 40 " and the other greater than 40". I think NY still has something similar. I wish NY, CT and RI would all have one requirement. I could theoretically fish across all three borders within one drift.

Blackfish in CT need only be 14"

Thanks!! ;D Now if I can keep this prize money away from my wife I know exactly were it is going!!

Well its to bad this year between work, weather and family most of us did not get any good shots @ a trophy fish. Maybe next year we can run the contest from May to November ??? This way every one gets a shot @ the large runs of diffrent fish that go threw our areas :o *just a thought *;)
Thanks again!! and Tight Lines!! (Corny line, but I keep using it ;D)
A special thanks to CY for putting this thing together :-*
CY, I sent you a PM with my adress
