I don't understand though. Like I said, I have the same engine in my 98' and I tow at around 70-75 with no problems on I95 when I can get away with it.

I think the problem lies in the t-top and what else stick up and around the jeep. It causes a bit of drag when pulling it down the highway. I borrowed a co workers 2500 Ram truck to bring it up here last summer. The MPG down w/o a load was around 22mpg. On the way back up it was running around 18mpg.
I have no idea what the weight is. I know its less than 3000lbs or so. |
