Nice.
My cousins eat them. I don't bother as there are plenty of other fish to eat. I hear that the toxin builds in your system over time as you never expel it so given that you eat enough fish with small quantities of it, you may eventually have it affect you. This is what I recall from reading about it some years back. Supposedly some large groupers can have it too. I'm guessing it would be the goliath or something like that? |

That looks an awful lot like a very tasty kingfish (king mackeral) and not much like a cuda. check out the finlets running back to a forked tail. cudas have a big square tail. nice catch!

SkunkBoat, I stand corrected. After careful evaluation of the picture, you are absolutely correct! I can't believe I misidentify the fish. I was so pumped to landing a wahoo that I didn't pay close attention, although I am very surprised to have landed a king trolling at about 14-16 knots, a mistake most anglers make. But pictures don't lie.
