Same here in NC Nipper. Fooled myself for a good while.
Keep in mind they say not to mix non-ethanol with 10% ethonal because it causes additional gunkiness, or so I hear. I have decided to just stick to ethonal laced fuel and be diligent with marine stabil for that reason. My logic is that rarely do I have the opportunity to run the tank dry before fill up so since that is the case chances are I could find an pro-ethanol station easier than a non-ethanlol station.

Reviving this because NC is on the list now.
I think the site is a great resource. Once you know where the station that sells ethanol free gas is, you know where to return to. I found one right here in my home town! Also, I might be wrong, but I don't see how mixing non-ethanol gas in with ethanol gas could be an issue. The less ethanol the better so if you put some real fuel in there, how can that be a bad thing? |
