Ethanol free gas stations.
I know it's not complete but will give you some other options.

Great....they dont even have NJ on the list at all.

I had been fooling myself here in Indiana where about 40% of the stations have stickers saying that the gas contains 10% ethanol. I figured the other 60% had pure gasoline with no ethanol, and of course filled my tank at those stations I thought did not have ethanol. Well, as it turns out, Indiana has no law requiring labeling on the pump regarding ethanol content and ALL stations have ethanol in the fuel.

Same here in NC Nipper. Fooled myself for a good while.
Keep in mind they say not to mix non-ethanol with 10% ethonal because it causes additional gunkiness, or so I hear. I have decided to just stick to ethonal laced fuel and be diligent with marine stabil for that reason. My logic is that rarely do I have the opportunity to run the tank dry before fill up so since that is the case chances are I could find an pro-ethanol station easier than a non-ethanlol station. |
Reviving this because NC is on the list now.
I think the site is a great resource. Once you know where the station that sells ethanol free gas is, you know where to return to. I found one right here in my home town! Also, I might be wrong, but I don't see how mixing non-ethanol gas in with ethanol gas could be an issue. The less ethanol the better so if you put some real fuel in there, how can that be a bad thing? |
