On the 20" vs. 25" I believe the earlier hulls were mostly if not all 20" transoms but they did make 25" a little later on, maybe early to mid 80's?
A lot of the 20" transoms have the "notch" in the middle and the 25"s are straight across. Here's the notch on my old boat ('73):
