Whatever Marine grade metal paint you use will work, the most important part it to prime it was a etching primer to hold off the corrosion from the metal surface.
I painted my MID and LU with rustoleum but I can clearly see the corrosion is starting to bleed through..I did not prime ... Here is a picture see the tilt arm ?
