Default Labor of love

Thanks for the insight gents. Thus far I have been using a fiberglass friendly paint remover and a sharp scraper. It takes time but the gelcoat shines as new once compounded and polished with a professional grade buffing machine. I guess I'll have to stick with that since I want to leave the gelcoat intact as long as possible.
Once again the OX looks great !!!

MJ,

Looks like your son and I have been hang around the same places.

I've been keeping and eye out for your boat at the Seaport. I'll come by and say hello when I see you around.

I used to tell my son, "we need to spend some quality time together", then he would know he was in for some work.

There are many things I like to do myself, but I am keeping bottom painting out of that list. My back\body feels so much better watching someone else do it. I hardly strained pulling my wallet out.

Both bottoms look good (MJ and inaforty)!

I love the way the guys up north just add "ing" on the end to let us know what kind of fish they are targeting. Bassing, Togging, Fluking, now Codding.

What do you do when the last letter of the fish is an "i"? Mahi for example. I'm "Mahi-ing" this week.

Or crappie fishing. I'm crappying.

Or king mackeral. FYI - I'm kinging ya'll!!

I love it!

to make it Southern, just drop the g off of the ing, then its bassin', flounderin', Mahin', or just plain fishin'

MJ,

You use the same paint on the boat and the bracket?
