1986 185 Evinrude update

Double check the year, but according to the EVINRUDE parts catalog the last 185 was made in 85. Most likely it is just a cross-flow 200HP with different badges on it. Parts availability for most all of the OMC's is really good as so many different parts easily interchange amongst different years. OMC was good about not changing things up every year.

don't buy hard to find parts that was a commerical motor and only a few every made it is a looper but different rods and crank. PS don't buy

I had a 1986 185 on my 86 v-20. Same badging and cowling as a 150. Standard parts. They did build a 155 hp commercial engine.
