YAMAHA 150!!!!!!!
I've had 3 V-20s. First had a 115 johnson. Underpowered. Second had a 150 Yamaha, PERFECT match up. Current has a 200 Yamaha. Screams, but a tad overkill. I thought the 150 was the ideal match up. And hands down Yamahas have been the best engines I've ever had. |

Only because it says "everyone respond", I will throw in my worthless and opinionated response.
![]() I would throw a new impeller in #1 and be proud to have an American made motor on the back of my boat.

Ok, after much looking and consideration, I have put a deposit on a 1988 200 Evinrude. The catch is that when I called the guy about his motor it turned out he had a 1988 200 evinrude which is going on my 20dc, a 21' Sea Ox with a 1988 Johnson vro 200(needs a powerpack), and a 1988 175 parts motor. The Boat sits on an ez loader trailer that is in pretty good shape other than some hardware surface rust. I ended up taking the package deal. Now the dilemma is which boat to keep... I wonder if I can swing keeping both... lol

I have to say it is a very big nice boat... much wider than the other walk arounds I've been in.
