I went from a Merc 150 2 stroke to a Suzuki DF140 4 stroke( they didn't have a DF150 at the time). With an average load, I went from ~41 mph WOT down to ~36 mph WOT. I don't miss the speed (certainly don't miss the Merc). Out of the inlet, it's rare to be flat enough to go WOT without getting beat up, so for me it worked out fine. If you're on a lake and can use the speed often, there is a noticable difference between the 140 and 150.
