What are you going to do with your catch? I hear the bluefins bring serious bucks. Are there strick limits on how much you can catch?

Can you say DINNER
. Recreational catch right now is one per boat 27" to 73", one per year over 73". We had two definate overs to leader and couldn't finish the job. Busted the leader on one and the hook pulled on the other. BLUE, TLD 25's are not up to the task. However, the little AVET HX 5/2 whooped on those fish. Amazing how much drag some of those little jigging reels can produce. The last fish of the day was one of the overs. At the hour mark, he dumped the spool on me. I had a TIAGRA 50W in hand w/ 60# mono. We had moved to max drag, maybe 35#'s. He pulled off a good 450 yards. Fought him all the way back and the hook pulled at leader. Probably a solid 300 plus fish.

Ahh the luck of the Irish! How does BFT rate compared to YFT. I've never had BFT but it seems to be a general consensus that YFT is a lot better. Then again I don't put much stock in general concensuses either. People like different things.
