heck my dad used one of my rider Gravely's at his house and the front dirt/snow blade already he has a nice clean drive, i'm waiting till tomorrow to use the rider Gravely here at my house to clean my drives.
Yeah. We never get ice or freezing rain up here.

It's 3:30 pm and I just got back in from lastnite. It was a long cold wet nite. I'm tired and I probably will have to go out tonite at 11pm and spread salt after all the places close.

I think I'm gonna go catch some sleep, I thought I'd let you boys know when I got back in I know you were worried about me!!!
(Yea right)

And ya'll thought us landscapers had it made, we have to go out and work even when the mail wont or can't go.

We put out 3,000lbs of salt, 125 gallons of liquid ice and ran the tractors pushing snow since 7:00pm lastnite.

nite boys

Well, as far as the snow goes, it started here about 9 this morning. The band off from Lake Ontario just shifted to the south after leaving 12+ inches depending on where you measure. Good old lake effect. The last few days have been chilly with overnight temps about -10. Warmed up nicely today, 23.
I am a supervisor with the City Public Works. I feel for you guys dealing with wet snow followed by rain and freezing rain; It is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Tough on equipment and the budget. Good luck with the clean-up.
