if i understood the audio, the capt is in his 70's. the way he was jumping up & down off the bow of that boat, i'm not gonna be the one to tell him how to load his boat.

ny i have a bunk trailer and on a short ramp or low tide, that's the way its done.
bs, probably due to silt being spread to surrounding sea grass, i agree with spare, thats what keeps some old ramps open.. |

When power loading you remove the silt at the end of the concrete ramp and mound it up so that it is now in the way at low tide.

That's the ramp I use all summer!
Its a nice new ramp, I drive on and kenny pulls the boat up with truck. Quick and easy!!
