brett favre is one of the top quarterbacks to ever play the position. the guy is a competitor, pure and simple. he loves the game and doesnt want to walk away. what a season he had. what a team he has. so many weapons. i would like to see him come back but thats pure selfishness on my part. i hate to see one of the great ones walk away from the game.

and although i didnt play the game as long as he did (i still play flag regularly) i'm a few years older than he is.
