Colts v. Saints

I said it months ago, and of course I really was not going out on a limb given they had the best records in football, but it IS Colts v. Saints for the superbowl. Should be a heckuva game. Colts 31-28 in OT.

I say high scoring, Colts will prevail, Manning will slice em up in the 4th ..

I hope somebody talked CTT off the roof last night.

It should definatley be a good game. I am looking forward to it.

I bet Favre is hurting today after that beatting he took last night, if I were him, I'd retire.

Favre had a bunch of marks on his head during the post game press conference. I bet you are right--he is a sore puppy today.

He might not have a choice. Granted he had a good year, but he always blows it in the end.

The game was the vikings to lose and they did in the last play of offence of the game when there was a ten yard sprint Favre could of made but instead tried to pass it in traffic.
I believe he tried to pass it as he was hurt to bad to do any sprinting period.
Had he done so their kicker would have had a fairly easy three pointer and the game would have been over, and the Colts would be playing the Vikings.
Though it was his choice to make I believe he was hurt to bad to do anything else.
His line let him down badly, he was being pummeled every other play the whole game and still fought on. He was even hit late on two occassions which were blatant late hits and were not called. Poor officiating for sure.
I am not blaming them for the loss, but do want to put in perspective that one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game probably played his last one this weekend and the loss will be on him even though he fought tooth and nail to make it happen in spite of the odds.
That is a champion in my mind

It would be a shame that the last play of his career is an interception. he might be back just because of that. i was pulling for the saints, but i think a colts/viking game would be better to watch.
it would be like watching grasshopper snatch the pebble from the master's hand..

He also has about 12 million other reason to play one more year. While it seemed Farve threw the game looing int. it was all the other turn over that cost them the game. I'm not a hugh BF fan but how can you not admire someone 40 yrs old playing football at that level and having a blast doing so. Its like he is still 25 yrs old.

Farve has to be one of the purely TOUGHEST MoFos ever to play in the NFL...I agree w/Willy...CHAMPION describes him perfectly...and anybody wanna point out an NFL QB who hasn't thrown an interception?...the timing was bad, no question, but coincidence of frequency...I hope he can play another season...
