Thumbs up

I like to use clorox clean-up, basically bleach, and a pressure washer. Takes a lot less elbow grease. She'll look great, congrats!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Took a little time today to "test" clean a few areas just to see whats under the crud. Looks like she will clean up nicely!! After we get all the gunk off and a some polishing she should be a real beauty!!

Bc, The 150 Merc is also an 86'.

If you are not using a power washer, you ought to give it a try. I have found that a power washer alone, without any scrubbing or detergent, will knock off most of the crud and then you can give it a good scrubbing with a moderately stiff brush and a cleanser. I have found lots of stuff works well for cleaning, including softscrub type products, products with bleach, and even the good old scrubbing bubble type spray on bathroom cleaner.

Like others mentioned, power wash and that's it. If you don't have one, either invest on one or rent for a day, you'll be amazed of how EASY and how clean comes out.
