If you are in Florida then its not a deal, check craigslist plenty of V in the South West area, the trailer is shot between that and the work on the hull it will be costly for 1500 to 2k you may be able to find a better deal ?

Provided the transom, floors and foredeck are solid and you are looking for a PROJECT boat, 500's OK...if it were me, I'd plan to junk the motor and outdrive and hang a bracket and outboard on it...but I wouldn't plan to spend just a little money and have a relible boat...

I agree that $500 seems reasonable if the floor/transom/stringers are in good shape, especially if the motor and outdrive operate.

Man looking at those raw plywood custom seats at first site are pretty scary but imagine that design out of some durable like starboard or powder coated aluminum. Pretty unique design

hunter, there is a hin # on the top of the transom on the starboard side. the last 2 digits are the year. i might be wrong, but that looks a little older than an 82.

I would agree with phatdaddy looks similar to a 78 or 79.

$500 to start, spend $8000 getting it in usable condition, and you'll have a nice $5000 boat.

But that is the nature of this game, go for it if you have the skills and $$$$$, if not, look for one ready to use.
