I remove mine for the same annoying reason, water on the deck when backing up etc
I then re-routed it to the Bilge area. Before ![]() Resin and cloth inside ![]() Gone !

My deck draind into my splashwell and if we have a few people fishing or standing in the back of the boat it was an issue. I just kept a few plugs which went into the deck drains which worked just fine.
