take a 6 gallon portable tank and hook it to the motor
run WOT if it runs out of gas in 15 minutes or less, its a 235. as far as wiring, like ferm said, i'd cut it all out(except engine) and start over. when your through it will be a mess, but it will be your mess. |

Yeah its hard for me to believe theres a 235 on an 18. Got a 120 on mine...will go back with a 150-175 when repowering but not because it needs it, because Im a nut job.

ok guys i checked and it is a 235 the guy i got it from said he bought it and had it put on him self ..........so do i need to sell this motor and get a 150 ??
as for the wiring i needed it for the key switch not the boat ..thanks for your input it helps |
