Another Pro of an outboard is that you can run in more shallow water than an I/O. However in my opinion the v20 isn't exactly designed for shallow water with the deep keel in the front.

I have an I/O but I have owned previous boats with outboards. I like outboards when you go to beach the boat since you can get the motor totally up from the bottom. Of course, the outboard also opens up lots of useful cockpit space.

OB all the way. Speaking from a marina stand point, if you keep it in the water an OB can be tilted all the way out of the water, an IO you gotta get special bottom paint.

Thanks Guys....I have always had an outboard and will probably trailer this boat....I will stick with the outboard....
