Simply remove the engine and pour the transom, Five gallons of Arjay and you are done ..Do a search on here plenty information in regards to transom re-builds including mine ..

Welcome to the forum, our 74 has a poured transom, it is fine. The previous owner had it done and we have had the boat since 2005........Ted

that year should already be self bailing and already have a 25" transom....unless some mods were done by previous owner

You are correct it was three pails, 15 gallon of which I spill maybe one or two :)
