I was thinking about the filter comment and was wondering,
what if I put a small in line filter right before teh bulb?

I was thinking about this and I answered my own question - DAAAH
I put the RACOR filter in because my small in line filter kept clogging, if I put it back, I will be back to square one.

If you are getting lots of clogging, maybe a tank cleaning or review should be considered?

Guys don't forget if you are running a carburettor engine that uses the engine pulses to siphon fuel it is critical you NOT install filters that will restrict the flow of fuel, serious power head failure will be the result.
Always check the filter you use it must me rated for two stroke and pre-mix if you do. I remove the check valve located on top of my fuel tank, and I install fuel filter separator with a plastic bowl at the bottom so I can drain the water out if any. With this set up I am hitting my RPM'S and the primer bulb stays a little hard .. |

i have run mine before the filter mainly so i could primer the filter as well so the motor wouldn't have a chance to air lock from trapped air in the filter system. i never had any issues from it.
