Thanks guys. I'll have to talk to the mechanic again. He is certified with the FICHT/E-Tecs but I know he relies on my old mechanic that switched to Mercury. That guy knew his stuff. I thought of carbon issues, but since all is well at high and low speeds, I think you are on the right track with the EMM.

man if he has to refer to a mercury man, thats not good, j/k

it shouldt take long to see what map you have. they just need to plug it into the emm. You might want to call dfi technologies in orange beach, al. they know all the ins and outs of omc/brp ecu's emm's
