Chomper- Right now it is just held in by gravity and friction. The back is pretty tight in the splashwell. I am headed out this afternoon to see how it works, if it is all over the place I am going to add some slide toggle things like you see on gates.
Mike- The engine tilts up pretty far with the seat back tilted forward, not all the way but definitely enough for trailering. With the seat back up, I can get some tilt but not a ton. If I am beaching the boat I may be screwed, we'll see. -Svence

Well test rode her today and all was well. Worked perfect. Only small change is I am going to add two strips of starboard on the bottom to keep it from sliding forward. When I tilt the motor up, instead of it leaning the back it sometimes slides the whole seat. Easy fix. Overall I am extremely happy.
