UPDATE!!!
We are getting with the doctor to release my dad to Home Hospice. They have a really fine program here and he will get the same kind of care at home as he would in the hospital. Around the clock nurses, dodctor visits, meds etc to keep him comfortable in his own house! There is nothing that they can do for his multiple conditions and we chose quality of life over sitting in a hospital bed being exposed to god knows what! |

Thank you for the update. Best wishes to you, your family and your Pop. My Dad was in home hospice for a short time and it was sure better for everyone than being in the hospital. Those hospice people are saints.

Franco, Hospice has been taking care of my mom for about 6 months now, they are a great help in a bad situation. She has COPD and has been fighting it for about 10 years and just give out. i think we are getting down to the short rows now. the best any of us can hope for is an easy transition.

franco, my thoughts are with you and your family. surround yourselves with each other as much as you possibly can. life can be so fragile. all we can hope for is a little more time spent with our loved ones.
getting old sure does suck a s s .
