I guess this should be in the repair section, but I started it here so....

In the first shot, the riser is off

Second shot, a close up of the corrosion, this is the bolt that pulled the threads out when removing.

last shot, the manifold is off. You can see evidence of coolant in the #3 & #4 cylinders.

I also had to remove the heat exchanger and re-tap the raw water drain plug hole and install a new drain plug. The old one came apart in the fall when I tried to loosen it to drain the heat exchanger. This was easier with the manifold out of the way. Got the "new" manifold on except for a hole on the heat riser that needs a plug, its ready to start and check it out.
