Actually, when I was searching the site for info your detailed pictures were a huge help. My 78 has a big spashwell and if I set the motor back a bit I can get the seat/platform in. I don't have it fully figured out yet but I have a good idea for it. Then again maybe I have been reading the site to much and caught the modification bug.

Chomper:

Have you considered the impact to your steering setup? If your currently using a cable based system vice hydraulic, make sure you can bend the cable enough if your going to set the motor back any distance from its current position.
