I was going straight into true 3-5's on the way out. The pisser of it was that there was big swells out there with the waves rolling over the swells. And the tide was ripping the other way. It made for a horrible ride out. I only seen 1 other boat out there past 2 miles. The first ramp I stopped at had NOBODY at it, then I looked and seen how low the water was. Went up the way to the next ramp and there was only 4 trailers in the parking lot there. I had a wreck in 70 feet I wanted to hit, but I wasn't going out another 18 miles in that weather.

Good job fellas Those are a couple of monstas! Ferm where ya puttin in at? When I was exiled down that way for a few years I used to use the Anclote ramps quite a bit.

BAYPORT has been my ramp of choice. I have ALOT of numbers out of there, but most of them are still in TD. The other downside is that it is pretty shallow there. 1 mile is 1 foot of water depth for the most part, so to get 50 feet you have to go almost 50 miles.
