Don't get me started on this subject. This closure is BS!!! I'm gonna try and head offshore tommorrow as well, but my LORAN crapped out last trip and most of my numbers are still in TD.

Darn, :clap::clap:

Despite all, consider yourself lucky, it’s nice to be able to do that while we shovel snow here in the Northeast.:bat:

Man, I miss my younger days of snorkeling.

Ouch...Hope you had your numbers written down somewhere. I have THREE backups of my GPS numbers on various hard drives.

What kind of loran do you use? I've been thinking of buying one on ebay because I have a bunch of numbers that were given to me but they're all loran.

Yeah, shoveling snow is one thing I thankfully know nothing about.

We will be freezing our butts off though. Water temp is around 58.
Oh well, no pain no gain, right?

We hit them hard today. My friend Chris caught this 35lb Gag on a 15" white snapper.

Parrot Head, that thing is a hoss. Not a bad way to close out the season.

We got 5 gags today nothing close to that size though.

I agree gag is definitely one of the best eating fish there is in the gulf.
