The 248 I rode in did pretty good up to 22 MPH, but beyond that it started pounding HARD.
im going look at it this after noon and i'll fidn out exactaly what model it is. yeah thats what i figured, but i do not go out into the gulf if its rough anyway, too much stuff gets broken. usually the wave action in the gulf is spaced pretty far apart, im guessing it should ride better than my v-20. do you know what the deadrise is on the boat?

here are some pics

That looks like a 230, If it is then it has 18 degrees of deadrise to it. Could also be a 236 which would have 20 degrees of dead-rise to it and possibly a much larger fuel tank.

it doesnt seem to bad of a boat from the specs. it was what im looking for, bait keeper, large fishbox, 22gal livewell and at least 100 gal fuel tank. i can live with 18 deg of dead rise. it should be pretty efficient being it does not have alot of v to it.

It appears to be a 236 from the photos off the WELLCRAFT site and the HP hanging off the back. That there is a different animal than the 248 I've ridden in. Depending upon year it could have a 100 gallon or 140 gallon tank in her.

man ferm i hope its that one, that looks like one hell of a fishing machine. more dead rise, multiple fish boxes, and live well. that has to be the boat there is another pic of teh v-berth and it looks identical, that would be sweet if it had the 140 gal tank. you ever rode in one of those ferm?

Not a 236, I have a 238 and it was pretty nice. The 238 I believe is pretty similiar to the 236 and I know the 238 will take rough water better than a 248 will.
