You guys are so funny.....just because some lady has some inaccurate ideas about her future does not mean that is what will happen. 95% of you will see a decrease in your tax bill. I dare say you are not going to refuse it and tell the government "no thanks".

I'll venture a guess that 99.7% of the people on this forum make less than 250K per year, so in effect all of us will pay less taxes according to campaign speak. My only question is who the hell is gonn pay to run the Country? That said, I have yet to say anything bad about our President Elect, but I do have some very deep concern.

LOL - 99.7 % ? How did you arrive at the .7? Just messin with you. It struck me as funny.

The national debt has doubled in the last 8 years. The sharpest rise in history.

Come on now, you have to keep up with the campaign speak. Biden said $150K the last time he mentioned, and obama said $200K was the new number 2 weeks back. This is for joint returns as well, I believe single returns was $120K but was lowered to $90K when he dropped it to the $200K. Don't forget about the BUSH tax cut's of 01 and 03, if he let's those expire(which he most likely will) EVERYBODYS taxes will go up. This essentially wouldn't be an increase, just letting a previous bill expire.

Okay everybody, as to not OFFEND anyone, I copied this from the White House website, so don't go thinking I came up with this all on my own.....okay?

Bush has cut taxes for EVERYONE, including the "poor." President Bush's 2001 and 2003 tax relief fueled economic growth and reduced the marginal rate for every income tax bracket. By the end of last year, Americans would have paid an additional $1.3 trillion in taxes had it not been for the President's tax relief. If the President's tax relief is allowed to expire at the end of 2010, Americans will pay about $280 billion more in taxes each year. With the largest tax increase in history looming, Congress should make the President's tax relief permanent.

Don't forget Obama is going to repeal these tax breaks and add new ones right after that. So $280 billion plus what Obama wants. And don't forget, that taxable income is gross income, not net income. Hell my wife and I almost fall into that bracket, and we are SOOOOOOOOO NOT rich!!
